School Uniform Policy and Regulations
Live Oak Montessori School adopted a mandatory school uniform policy Monday – Thursday for all students 3-year old and older. Friday is a uniform-free day.
It has been observed that the adoption of a mandatory school uniform policy as one positive and creative way to promote school safety, improve discipline, and enhance the learning environment.
The actual school uniform for students as follows:
Boys:
Tops – Hunter green, Navy blue, Yellow or White polo type shirt either short or long sleeve, or t-shirts sold by the school. Bottoms – can be khaki, black pants or shorts or any of your choice. Foot Apparel – Dress shoes or athletic shoes at the child’s choice.
Girls:
Tops – Hunter green, Navy blue, Yellow or White polo type shirt either short or long sleeve, dresses, jumpers in the approved colors, or t-shirts sold by the school. Bottoms – khaki or black pants, shorts, skirt, skorts or any of your choice of the appropriate size and length. Foot Apparel – Dress shoes or athletic shoes at the child’s choice.
No logos or insignia except shirts displaying Live Oak Montessori School’s logo are permitted.

French Toast® Official School Wear™ is less expensive than other types of clothing. A student can easily be outfitted with easy-care, long-lasting French Toast® uniforms for about $150 a year. This includes 10 to 12 items. What a bargain!

With uniforms, students find ways to express themselves creatively, rather than through their clothes – through the arts, music, sports, personality and academic achievement. Uniform prepares students for life after school, when most will be expected to dress smartly and appropriately for work, adhering to a corporate dress code.
