Live Oak Montessori is truly perfect school if you want your child to grow happy, peaceful, curious, courteous and caring. Children here get a lot of personal attention, because classes are not overcrowded. Teachers are not only educated and experienced, but also very patient and treat all the kids with love and respect. They allow kids to explore, but also teach them to be disciplined, organized and patient. Children here are thought to love books, care for each other and their environment. They are provided with lots of high quality learning materials that are being changed constantly, so they can work on developing new practical and educational skills, being occupied by learning new things or improving their skills. The school does not encourage the use of technology such as TV or computers for young kids, instead they are given lots of opportunities to explore the nature and learn from practice. After my son spent here more than a year he has changed a lot. He became more inquisitive and observant. His language developed tremendously, he started talking more and using more complex words. He is learning how to express his feelings and concentrate for longer periods of time. He is also learning how to handle difficult social situations with his peers, how to clean up and take care of himself. In addition he is getting lots of knowledge in geography, biology, math and language, which is being provided in age appropriate and fun manner. Live Oak Montessori school founder is experienced, dedicated and loving towards kids and very passionate about Montessori way of learning. She makes sure that children don’t lose the love for learning and exploring and they can grow up self-sufficient, independent and educated adults. She is always welcoming to parents if her help and advice are needed.

Our son started here in May this year after having attended other Montessori schools. Live Oak Montessori has changed his life and ours! Larysa, Maria, and Sylwia are truly amazing, dedicated, and caring teachers. They are fully dedicated to teaching and not just “watching” the kids. Results in growth of our son were seen within a month and have continued each week. They took him in with open arms and the other children did as well. It’s rare that a child is “ready to go home” at the end of a day. They all love it there and that speaks volumes! I highly recommend Live Oak Montessori!! Thank you!

I am writing this from a stay at home Dad’s perspective. My son Devon was a complete surprise to my wife and myself. We have boys from previous marriages who are in college we thought we were through. God had other plans for us. So it was time to think about Devon’s future we had not had to think about these things for a long time. So the journey began to find a place for him to learn and grow.

I was not happy when Rachel brought me to Live Oak Montessori; I went in with a negative approach, being we have our own business and I am a stay at home Dad. I didn’t trust anyone at that point and didn’t think anyone was good enough for our baby. But Larysa and I have become great friends. She really cares. The staff at Live Oak Montessori is the best, they really care about what they do and the kids and it shows. Montessori allows the child to develop at his pace, without holding back those who excel in any given area, or leaving behind those that grasp the concepts more slowly, and that is a great thing. And in this busy world, that is very competitive and uncertain, I am really glad that I can educate my child with the Montessori System of Learning with someone that understands. Larysa’s own children go to Live Oak Montessori. Devon learns respect for the other children, the beautiful materials, and his work. He is learning to develop friendships and work through conflict. I am blessed that I gave this school a chance, as you can see it is the best thing that we have done for the years that matter most, you cannot get them back. I am impressed with Larysa’s approach to teach the children as a whole: with all the values, friendships, responsibility, individuality, and, of course, academics. You could put your child anywhere, but take the time to look at the options: is it a school or just a daycare? Look at the results, there is a big difference and I am glad we chose a School. So I had to write from a Dad’s point of view who really was negative at first but really glad that I gave it a chance and would not have Devon go anyplace else.

There are no words to describe how amazing this school is. After just one visit all of the typical concerns of putting your child with a care center or school will be put to rest and you will not be disappointed. From the genuine and experienced staff to the endless Montessori resources and learning materials displayed in bookshelves from wall to wall in every room, how could you not feel welcome? Everyone and everything there along with the Montessori method itself is catered towards providing the best environment and tools to challenge and promote intellectual development.

The Teachers and Staff are so nice and elegant. The children are so well behaved that when I first went there I was confused why the kids were so calm and behaved because I was used to seeing wild kids at the playground. My daughter has been going here a year and loves it, she has learned a lot and she seems to be getting a lot of skills with speaking, motor ability and self-control at a very rapid rate it’s adorable!
